Cool ‘64 Princeton that a proud owner painted white at some point.

Deluxe 5C3. This 5y3 rectifier is not really a 5y3! It doesn’t look like one and has very little voltage drop so the high voltage was 30v higher than a 5y3. The amp did not sound right and the output tubes failed prematurely. (Russian 6v6 equivalents)

Old Vox AC50’s are cool but the internal layout is kind of bonkers. I also don’t like the tone stack. Otherwise, 1 thumbs up!

I love McIntosh tube amps. They just bring music to life for me.

Updated JUDGE 5W with power scaling module. I used to use a basic attenuator with this but messing around with a voltage adjustment at the output tube makes for a more complex sounding overdrive at low volume.

Kinda wiped out after removing a zillion rusted and stripped screws and rivets and struggling to get the old tolex off of this beat up Marshall cab. Next up is filling holes, repairing broken joints and sanding it down.

Repaired this German Telefunken Echomixer for my old friend @overgrown.church I hope it makes it on some future recordings. It’s a pretty dark and gloomy sounding verb. It’s a line level mixer so would probably sound goth as sh*t in a mix session.

JUDGE FRIENDZ blend-able fuzz. I spent too long working on this circuit but finally found the perfect diodes and transistors for it to roar without losing the fundamental note. Thanks to those who demoed my many prototypes.

Just got a batch of Texas Instruments gold pin germanium transistors that are testing perfect for the JUDGE KILOR. What you see here is from the first batch of prototypes I made, but the latest batch has different knobs, 9v power on the side, and printed directly on a shiny red enclosure.
